Insulation Across Eastern Minnesota

East of the Highway 10 corridor our work spreads out along Highways 23 and 65 through Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Isanti and Chisago counties. Milaca, Princeton, Mora, Cambridge and Isanti are the towns we are in most often, and the distances between jobs here are longer than anywhere else we work.

That changes how we schedule rather than what we charge. We batch this side of the map, so if you are flexible on the week we can usually fold your project into a day we are already out there, and a neighbour booking at the same time helps both of you.

The buildings themselves divide cleanly. Lake property and hobby-farm outbuildings on one side, where closed-cell foam on steel and sealed crawl spaces do the work. Commuter-town housing on the other, absorbing growth from the metro, where the list is the familiar one: unsealed ceiling planes, shallow attics and untouched rim joists.

Kanabec and Chisago county jobs are worth asking about even if your address is past the towns named here. The map we work is wider than the list.

Questions

Common Questions

Which counties does Eastern Minnesota cover for you?

Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Isanti and Chisago, along Highways 23 and 65. Milaca, Princeton, Mora, Cambridge and Isanti are the towns we are in most often.

Is most of your work out here on outbuildings?

A large share of it, yes. Hobby farms and acreage mean machine sheds, shops and pole barns, and on steel the answer is closed-cell foam because it stops condensation as well as heat loss.

We are converting a seasonal lake place to year-round. Can you help?

That is one of the most common projects we take in this part of the state. The scope is usually the roofline where there is no attic, the crawl space or floor, and the air sealing that lets the building hold temperature when nobody is there.

Is summer a bad time to insulate out here?

Not at all, and for lake property it is often the best time. Working in the warm months means open windows while foam cures, easier access on soft county roads, and the building is ready well before the first hard freeze instead of during it.
