The Heart of Our Service Area

This is where most of our trucks are on most days. The band runs from the St Cloud metro north up Highway 10 through Little Falls and on into the Brainerd lakes country, taking in Stearns, Benton, Morrison, Crow Wing and Sherburne counties on the way.

The character of the work shifts as you move up that line. At the southern end it is a metro: older neighbourhoods near the Mississippi with hollow walls, fast-growing suburbs in Sartell and Sauk Rapids where the question is air-tightness rather than R-value, and commercial buildings in Waite Park. Keep going north and the density drops away into farmsteads, shops and machine sheds. By the time you reach Baxter and Brainerd it is cabins, vaulted rooflines and places being made fit for the whole year.

Because our crews are in this band constantly, the small jobs stay worth doing. A single rim joist, one attic brought up to depth, a crawl space sealed before winter. Those are the projects that get priced out of reach when a company has to drive two hours to reach them, and they are often the ones that change how a house feels the fastest.

If you are somewhere between the towns on this list, you are almost certainly still inside the area we cover. Call and describe the building.

Questions

Common Questions

How far north do you go in Central Minnesota?

Up through Little Falls and into the Brainerd lakes area, including Baxter and the lake towns around it. The Highway 10 corridor is our most travelled road, so projects along it are routine rather than a special trip.

Do you cover the whole St Cloud metro?

Yes, including Sartell, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park. The metro is a core market for us and the work there runs from older river-neighbourhood houses to new construction and commercial buildings.

Can you handle a lake cabin and a pole barn on the same property?

Yes, and around Brainerd that pairing is common. The cabin usually needs the roofline and the floor, the barn needs closed-cell foam on steel, and doing both in one visit saves a second mobilisation.

Should we wait until autumn to book this?

No. We run insulation through all four seasons and there is no advantage in queueing for the autumn rush. A sealed building holds heat through a January cold snap and keeps July roof heat out of the ceiling, so the same work pays off in both directions whenever it is done.
